I wonder if Mary and Joseph might have prayed this psalm regularly.  I can imagine them praying these verses over Jesus as he slept each evening.

If God can use Joseph, I am pretty sure he can use you and me, too, if we simply say we trust him and follow where he leads.

When I concentrate on the story of Judah, I’m struck anew at the remarkable ways God works in our world.

Some find any celebration of Jesus as little more than an irritant. But for us who believe, Christmas is only the beginning of his offer to us.

We have all seen moments with chances best described as “slim to none.” Many of these result in the predicted outcome. In Scripture we see many situations where, from a human perspective, we would agree that the main characters were facing slim-to-none possibilities for survival or success.
